GovExec TV: Five Questions with Todd Gustafson
Presented by
HP
In this episode of GovExec TV, we speak with Todd Gustafson, president of HP Federal, about how HP’s new workforce experience platform (WXP) is helping agencies and teams improve experiences for users and IT administrators. Simplifying IT operations, cutting costs, and enhancing the end-user experience are all top-of-mind priorities for agencies and organizations, but solutions may require myriad tools that work in different environments. WXP takes raw telemetry data and presents it in an actionable dashboard format to help IT administrators optimize resources and improve performance.
Gustafson shares real-life examples of WXP in action, such as a mid-sized U.S. state agency with 25,000 employees leveraging WXP to analyze software application utilization data. In another use case, a university used WXP’s capabilities to replicate the in-office worker experience for staff working hybrid schedules.
WXP also enables agencies and teams to proactively identify when their office hardware is due for maintenance, minimizing downtime and disruption. And as agencies focus on using AI to increase productivity, Gustafson reveals that the WXP platform includes a natural language model that allows IT teams to query the system and find information and answers they need instantly.
Looking ahead to the future, Gustafson hints that WXP’s capabilities will only expand further as HP continues to match the needs of its users. To learn more about HP’s WXP platform, visit https://workforceexperience.hp.com/
